An introduction by our Chairman

This website has been created specially for Regenda residents in Cheshire, this site is your contact with your Regional Consultative Committee, a body of volunteers who are all Regenda residents.

We aim to provide you with as much information as possible in every way we can, we aim to help you with problems that you cannot get sorted with your housing officers, we aim to be your voice across Cheshire.

Our hope is that this site becomes the discussion forum between all residents on all matters of interest, the aim is to improve whatever we can.

We will attempt to be as broad based as possible by providing information on as many subjects and topics as possible, from local issues to national problems.

If you have something to say this site is where your voice will be heard, contact us and we will install your message on the site. points of interest, whether that’s hobbies, travel, local events,places of interest, we hope to cover but we need you to provide the information, come on get on board.

Dear All,

It is with some regret that I have to inform you that because of the intransigence adopted by the senior management and board of Regenda the Regional Consultative Committees have ceased to exist and as the T.S.A. our protective body has been diluted, and soon to be abolished, I am afarid we have no where to go and no regulatory back-up to change the situation.

We attempted over the past five years or so to attain proper resident involvement at all levels within Regenda, in the end, and circumstances drastically changed to help them, they do not want resident involvement in any meaningful way whatsoever, yes there will be groups for this and groups for that, which will tick all the boxes, but in the end will prove to be as fruitless as our efforts have been.

There are some fourteen people in Cheshire who as residents have served on the Cheshire Regional Consultative Committee for the last 5/6 years on your behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their efforts, attendance, help and friendship I really do value all their contributions greatly.

We held the final gathering of the C.R.C.C. on Tuesday 29th March, now we cease to be an entity, no thanks or gratitude has been shown or given by Regenda, no recognition of our efforts in attempting to help them has been forthcoming, we seem to have wasted the last five years at their behest.
